The National Bank of Ukraine has developed changes for the conduct of cash transactions. They are aimed at regulating the requirements for the formalization of ferrous scrap acceptance operations by scrap collecting companies in accordance with the provisions of the Law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts (Regarding Shading the Market for Metallurgical Raw Materials and Operations with Ferrous Scrap)".According to this document, the ban on cash payments for ferrous scrap, which is handed over by the population, has been canceled. Previously, such a prohibition was in effect only formally, since it was violated almost everywhere.
The Verkhovna Rada adopted a law on shading the ferrous scrap market on July 14. The document signed by the president was returned on 12 August.
The National Bank has developed and proposed for public discussion a draft resolution "On Amendments to the Regulation on Conducting Cash Operations in National Currency in Ukraine". Comments and suggestions to the draft resolution are accepted until October 5.
